  • Carl represents workers in complex wage and hour class and collective actions and arbitrations.
  • Carl has successfully obtained nationwide FLSA conditional certification in numerous cases alleging violations of the FLSA across the country.
  • Successfully negotiated the settlement of numerous cases, including numerous multi-million dollar settlements, involving alleged violations of the FLSA and state wage-and-hour laws. These cases have spanned across numerous industries, including construction, healthcare, oil and gas, staffing and recruiting industries.
  • Successfully obtained summary judgment on employee status of 143 workers misclassified as independent contractors, and on individual liability of the owner and manager defendants. Jones v. Shac LLC, No. 2:15-cv-01382-RFB-NJK, 2019 WL 4246681 (D. Nev. Sept. 6, 2019).
