Richard Schreiber

Rick Schreiber has an incredibly broad background, having worked on both sides of the docket on a variety of different types of cases. Rick has represented insurance companies and large corporations in the past, and this gives him valuable insight into how the other side works. This makes Rick uniquely qualified to represent workers who have been unfairly denied their overtime pay.

Rick attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During college, Rick was a member of the university’s water polo team that won the national collegiate club championship in 2001. Rick then attended St. Mary’s School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor while interning at a prominent San Antonio law firm and working part-time as a tutor.

Upon graduating from law school, Rick began work at Ellis, Koeneke & Ramirez, LLP. There he primarily represented individuals who were fraudulently marketed and sold tax shelters from a “Top 4” accounting firm that resulted in multimillion-dollar recoveries for the clients. In 2009, Rick joined Wayne Wright, LLP and was promoted to the firm’s Houston office. Rick then joined Brennig & Associates in Houston, Texas before he came to Josephson Dunlap LLP in July 2017.

Rick has handled complex cases involving healthcare liability claims, including claims regarding alleged physician malpractice, hospital and nursing home negligence, catastrophic commercial trucking accidents, fraud, property disputes, trademark infringement, premises liability, and construction defects. His representation has led to numerous favorable jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients.

With vast experience successfully handling many different types of cases, Rick is able to provide clients with top-notch legal representation in pursuit of their claims. His diverse legal background, work ethic, and client-first attitude allow him to compete against the finest law firms in the country with exceptional results.
