Rochelle Prins represents workers in cases involving wage and hour violations on an individual, collective, and class action basis. Employers should pay their workers their rightful compensation under state and federal law, and Rochelle advocates for her clients based on this belief. Rochelle is passionate about winning cases for her clients. She is an experienced trial attorney and has won multiple jury trials including a two-week jury trial in Maricopa County State Court. She also has extensive experience drafting legal briefs in state, federal, and appellate courts.
Rochelle attended the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated summa cum laude. She then attended law school at Arizona State University where she earned her juris doctorate in only 2 ½ years. While pursuing her law degree, Rochelle was involved in Jurimetrics, the Journal of Law, Science, and Technology as an associate editor. In addition, she was elected by her peers to serve as the Vice President of Finance of the Student Bar Association and interned at the United States Bankruptcy Court and with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
While still in law school, Rochelle joined a civil litigation firm in Phoenix where she soon became an associate attorney. For over five years she handled a large number of cases in a fast-paced environment, including severe personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance coverage matters. She was actively involved in every aspect of her cases, including fact investigation, discovery, conducting depositions, managing expert witnesses, drafting briefs, settlement negotiations, and arguing her clients’ cases to arbitrators and judges. She later joined a boutique law firm in Scottsdale, Arizona as a litigation associate. She practiced employment law, contract law, and a wide variety of other civil matters for both plaintiffs and defendants. In 2019, Rochelle moved from Arizona to her home state of Texas where she joined the team at Josephson Dunlap.
Rochelle is licensed in the State of Arizona, as well as several federal courts around the country, including the District of New Mexico and District of Colorado.
