We are here to help
Scott Marshall is committed to protecting individuals and families from corporate wrongdoing and negligence. After 20 years of battling Goliath on behalf of underdogs in the product liability arena, Scott joined the Josephson Dunlap team to continue advocating for clients who have been harmed by corporate misconduct. Using his vast experience in holding corporations accountable, Scott now devotes his practice to recovering unpaid wages and benefits for workers who were denied their rightful compensation by their employers.
An Alabama native, Scott graduated from Auburn University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He then attended Cumberland School of Law and received his law degree in 1998. While attending Cumberland, Scott began work at the Attorneys Information Exchange Group—fighting for individuals injured by dangerous and defective products—and went on to serve as Staff Attorney for the organization through 2010. In 2011, Scott moved to Texas and began representing consumers in product liability cases. In his national practice, which includes trial and appellate experience, he has helped to achieve landmark victories for clients in cases involving wage and hour violations, defective tires, and unsafe vehicles.
Scott is a frequent author and lecturer on topics regarding trial practice and product safety. A sample of Scott’s presentations and publications includes: Controlling and Winning the Confidentiality Order Battle (2016), Use of Whistleblowers in Tire Litigation (2011), Proving Economic Damages in Personal Injury Cases (2011), A Practical Approach to Handling GM and Chrysler Bankruptcy Cases (2010), Analysis of Recent Defense Verdicts in Roof Crush Cases (2006), and Discovery from Experts (1999). In addition to being licensed to practice law in Texas and Alabama, Scott is licensed in the United States District Courts in the Southern District of Texas and the Northern District of Texas.
